Thousand Islands Water Resources (SDA) Sub-agency builds 10 infiltration wells at Nyiur Melambai Children-Friendly Integrated Public Space (RPTRA), Kelapa Island Urban Village, North Thousand Islands Sub-district.

Thousand Islands SDA Sub-agency Head, Hendri mentioned, infiltration wells are built to prevent inundation, as happened a few days ago.
"We follow up request from urban village to build infiltration wells at RPTRA Nyiur Melambai because heavy rain occurred two days ago caused inundation," he explained, Friday (4/9).

"We deploy 5 personnel and target the construction work to finish in the next two weeks," he asserted.
Meanwhile, Kelapa Island Urban Village Acting Head (Plt), Muslim appreciated Thousand islands SDA Sub-agency's quick response in overcoming inundation at RPTRA Nyiur Melambai.
"Hopefully those infiltration wells can prevent inundation at RPTRA," he said.
